Job Description:
Bridgeborn is seeking an Senior Enabling Operations Subject Matter Expert to join our team in Arlington, Virginia. This individual will be responsible for supporting current and future projects for the Joint IED Defeat Organization (JIEDDO). The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and supporting a comprehensive program of training, exercises, business process, analysis, and technology implementation.
Summary of Essential Job Functions:
Coordinate and provide recommendations on new initiatives and prepare concepts of operations for new initiatives.
Focus attentions on Weapons Technical Intelligence, Suicide IED, Counter-IED Electronic Warfare, Homemade Explosives and related areas.
Produce analytical documentation, including summary and analysis of existing policy, concepts for new policy and comprehensive training materials for both contexts.
Required Qualifications
These are the basic qualifications a candidate must possess to effectively perform the essential functions of the position:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Master’s degree preferred. Degrees in Adult Education, Political Science, Homeland Security, or a related field preferred
10 – 12 years of military experience at the field grade officer level or DoD equivalent
Experience at Army Division (DoD service equivalent) level staff; must have strong operational and tactical background with Army and USMC maneuver elements and be conversant with technical applications of new and emerging C-IED technologies and their impact on fielded forces as well as the training base.
Experience in one or more of the following areas: Weapons Technical Intelligence (WTI), Suicide IED, C-IED Electronic Warfare (CREW), Underbelly, Command Wire IED, Homemade Explosives, Explosively formed Projectiles, aerial IEDs, dismounted operations in an IED environment, medical implications of IEDs, route clearing operations; Prefer recent deployment experience, Joint Staff, C-IED training/operations
Must have an active Secret security clearance.
Desired Experience:
Recent deployment.
Joint Staff, and Counter IED (C-IED) experience.
